Dr Venkata Mukunda M, received his MBBS training from Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical college , Belgaum which is now a part of KLE’s University . He did his specialisation in General Surgery and received his Master’s degree ( MS ) from the prestigious (Institute of Medical Sciences -IMS) AIIMS , Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
Dr Mukunda was trained in Laparoscopic as well as Open surgical management of complexhealth conditions .He is also a Fellow of Association of Minimal access surgeons and a Fellow of Association of Indian Surgeons .
Dr Mukunda went on to gain considerable experience working as an Assistant Professor as well as a Consultant in prominent medical institutions . He keeps himself updated with the latest advancements in the field by attending various National & International, workshops & conferences. This in turn helps his patients receive the best medical care at par with the National & International standards .
Dr Mukunda deals with Routine & Advanced laparoscopic surgeries like management of Hernias ,including recurrent & complicated ones , Gall bladder stones ,Appendicitis , Common bile duct problems , liver & pancreatic conditions ,Advanced intestinal surgeries like obstruction ,perforation,Intussuception,Rectal prolapse etc. Laser treatment for Hemorrhoids , fistulas , pilonidal sinus , varicose veins . He has a special interest in treatment of Endocrinological problems related to Thyroid like Multinodular goitre ,solitary nodules , Breast conditions like Lump breast , nipple discharge etc . Urological & General surgical procedures like Parotid Submandibular gland surgeries , Varicocele ligation , Circumcision, Lipoma , Diabetic foot , abscess etc ..
